This is Matt. He was one of the models at the Flickr/Strobist meetup on Sunday night and is quickly become a regular at our big events. I didn’t spend much time working with him, but I feel like I got some nice shots during our shoot. It was the first time I worked with a male model, so I had to change my directing technique (what little I have) a slight bit. I was also shooting in the middle of a fairly well-lit 13,000-sq-ft hangar and tried to knock out all of the ambient light. Aside from a few street lights and hot-lights from other lighting setups in the background that had to be cloned out, none of the actual environment showed up in the photos. I’m pretty happy with how these turned out.
