Also, I have been completely fascinated by Ugly Dolls lately. I’m generally not a plush toy sort of guy and tend to go for the fancier/spendier vinyl figures, but the Ugly Dolls have such neat designs and fun “personalities”. Ninja Ice Bat (above) is my latest acquisition. I have three other Ugly Dolls floating around my apartment right now waiting for more photo ops. Yeah, I’m totally a grown-up.
Mia came back from her business trip to London on Saturday and brought back Paddington Bear for me. He has now taken his place among Luci, Fez Monkey, and the voodoo doll as my office toys. He is most definitely the cutest of the bunch.
TGIF! The work week is done. After starting off the week a bit rough, things are finishing up quite nicely. I went out for a much needed night of fun and craziness with the Flickrites last night. I had a good animation review meeting today. It’s actually supposed to be nice here this weekend [knock on wood]. And Mia comes back from her business trip tomorrow. Time to spread the love!
I have a voodoo doll on my desk at work. I highly doubt that it actually works, but it’s still fun to channel the various states into someone especially when I’m in a bad mood. It’s also interesting to see where the pins have moved after someone stops by to hang out. Everyone has their preferred curses/blessings.
