It’s late afternoon on Wednesday, and I don’t feel much like working right now, so I’m going to jot down a few random thoughts for now.
I’m done with 52 Weeks. I got bored with it. Nothing more. I might jump back in at a later date, but really, I’m uninspired and bored with it.
I broke in Mia’s Yashica Mat 124 G during a small President’s Day photostroll on Monday afternoon, and I am completely in love with it. I’m going to borrow it more often.
It’s sunny outside, but I’m stuck in the office. I hate it. At least I’ll be out of here in about 30 minutes.
Mia is cooking dinner for me and a couple of our friends tonight. It’ll be the first official dinner party at our place. Totally looking forward to it.
I’m going to go play 9-ball right now before leaving work for the day. Yes, it’s good to work at a game company. :)

It’s Valentine’s Day, and, for the first time in a while, I actually have a date tonight (instead of being all bitter and crap like last year). Mia and I are going to her favorite restaurant in Belltown for dinner and then spending a much-needed relaxing night hanging out with each other. She’s been crazy busy with work lately, so we haven’t been able to spend much time together. Definitely looking forward to a nice evening with the girlfriend. The only thing I’m *not* looking forward to is parking in Belltown for dinner. That is going to suck. It’ll be worth it though.
Also, props to my officemate Todd’s girlfriend for the awesome V-Day peanut butter cookies. They were mighty tasty!
I’ve been wanting to reboot my blog for quite some time now (I’m thinking maybe a year…), and I finally got around to starting it last night. The first step was to upgrade to the latest version of Wordpress, update plugins, and do a few template tweaks to make sure everything was working OK. That was a pretty easy and painless process.
Now comes the fun part of updating the the design of my blog. I’m not planning anything too drastic. I want to clear out some of the clutter, update the list of rotating images in the header, tweak the color scheme a bit, and maybe add a few fun elements that integrate with my other online addictions. This part will likely be a slow, ongoing process, so things might look funky or work oddly for a bit. The content will still be there though (all you RSS readers probably won’t notice anything).

After a few days of holiday craziness and a rather fun and drunken Brews and Views, it was nice to just chill at home for a day. Mia and I got a very slow start to our Friday and ended up ditching all of our original Friday plans. Instead we spent the day chilling at home, watching TV, editing photos, and working on our respective 365 Days shots. The rest of the weekend is looking to be a rather relaxed one as well. I have a strong feeling that we’re not going to be very productive during the last few days of our vacation time (we’re both off through the new year).
