random thoughts for wednesday

oops do not block this door

It’s late afternoon on Wednesday, and I don’t feel much like working right now, so I’m going to jot down a few random thoughts for now.

I’m done with 52 Weeks. I got bored with it. Nothing more. I might jump back in at a later date, but really, I’m uninspired and bored with it.

I broke in Mia’s Yashica Mat 124 G during a small President’s Day photostroll on Monday afternoon, and I am completely in love with it. I’m going to borrow it more often.

It’s sunny outside, but I’m stuck in the office. I hate it. At least I’ll be out of here in about 30 minutes.

Mia is cooking dinner for me and a couple of our friends tonight. It’ll be the first official dinner party at our place. Totally looking forward to it.

I’m going to go play 9-ball right now before leaving work for the day. Yes, it’s good to work at a game company. :)

an apple a day

friday apple

Typically, I have a donut at work on Fridays, but Brocket (the designer who brings them in for everyone) was running late, and I elected to have an apple instead. I was hungry and really needed something to eat, and, frankly, I could do without all the badness that comes with eating a donut. Also, I like Fuji apples. They’re tasty.

happy valentine’s day

pb & j for v-day

It’s Valentine’s Day, and, for the first time in a while, I actually have a date tonight (instead of being all bitter and crap like last year). Mia and I are going to her favorite restaurant in Belltown for dinner and then spending a much-needed relaxing night hanging out with each other. She’s been crazy busy with work lately, so we haven’t been able to spend much time together. Definitely looking forward to a nice evening with the girlfriend. The only thing I’m *not* looking forward to is parking in Belltown for dinner. That is going to suck. It’ll be worth it though.

Also, props to my officemate Todd’s girlfriend for the awesome V-Day peanut butter cookies. They were mighty tasty!

new family member

new family member

Say hello to the newest member of our family: the Yashica Mat 124 G. This is my present to Mia for her Found Day. Originally, I tried to get one for her “regular” birthday back in January, but I was a victim of an eBay scam. It worked out well this time around. I have a feeling that stash of 120 film in my fridge isn’t going to last long.
