This 365 Days shot is totally inspired by J. Star’s photo. I didn’t have the nice weather to do this outside, but the Japanese-styled sitting area at the botanical garden made for a really good martial arts set. It was just a tad slippery, and I did slip and fall a few times. Good thing I know how to roll into falls without killing myself. It still didn’t feel good slamming into the hardwood floors. But, I got the shots needed for the composite, and that’s all that really matters. :)

Cool!
Danny, sometimes I think you read my mind. I did a composite series of one of my Capoeira buddies (who was a photo major) fighting with himself. For the “real” him, I had him kicking a free-standing heavy bag (like the kickboxing things) so it looked like he was practicing. We’d take the shot, then move the bag out of the way, and took a 2nd exposure of him evading/attacking his “real” self. The result was that he looked “ghostly” in the second shot, on top of the bag. It was really cool, because I wanted the shots to look like he was practicing, and imagining his opponent doing things he was reacting to/provoking.
Really cool shot :)
I’m sorry to see that your experiment in cloning has come to this. You are such a laid back guy, I would have thought you would be able to get along with your new clone. But, it seems the complexities of the clone/clonee relationship are just too problematic even for those with agreeable personalities.
I guess this is why home brew cloning kits haven’t taken off in the mainstream and are still relegated to questionable adverts in the back of “Biology Today.”
