what the hell is a

Last Saturday, the Seattle Flickr Meetup group invaded the SoDo district of Seattle for a mass photostroll. There were lots of new faces, plenty of industrial and urban goodness to photograph, and, of course, general insanity and goofiness. We started things off at the Krispy Kreme on 1st and Holgate then migrated south on Occidental and then strolled along the train tracks. Like a flash mob, we had crazy photographers attacking everything in sight. We even explored an art studio thanks to a local artist we met on the way. We finished the stroll at Andy’s Diner down on 4th and grabbed some food and drink. All in all, an incredibly fun afternoon. You can check out the madness in my Flickr Meetup set and in the Seattle Flickr Meetup photo pool.

joining the foundation

This just in: Amaze Entertainment is now part of Foundation 9. You can read all about it at Gamasutra and GameSpot. I’ll post links to more press releases and interviews as they become available.

I don’t really have too much of an opinion on this now, since I don’t know a whole lot about Foundation 9 (I am familiar with some of the studios that are part of Foundation 9), but, initially, it seems to be a good thing for all parties involved, including myself. I’ll try to write more about this as I get more information and learn more about what is going on. For now, it’s pretty cool news.

How cool is this? I got blogged on Lomography.com. Thanks go out to Michael Kuhle for considering my early LC-A+ xpro photos to be worthy of attention. :)
