Flickr and Nikon have teamed up for a promotional gallery thing called Nikon Stunning Gallery. Each week (I think) the site features “stunning” images from Nikon users on Flickr. The submission process is simply tagging your photos with “nikonstunninggallery”, and, if your photo is chosen, it’s displayed in the gallery.
I tagged a few of my photos a few weeks ago but completely forgot I had submitted them. Rick Takagi, one of my Flickr contacts, informed me that my photo from Gasworks Park made the cut. It’s buried in the lower right corner of the page it’s on, but it’s still a pretty cool thing. I’m sure the Stunning Gallery team gets a ton of submissions each week, and, based on the images I’ve seen on their site, the selected images are really really nice. I feel fortunate to have been included among them.
