Interestingly enough, just as I finish a phone interview with the XSI Product Planning Group and get my free copy of Softimage|XSI Foundation, there’s a petition floating around asking Softimage to port XSI to OS X. I know that my Powerbook couldn’t handle XSI well at all, but it sure would be neat to have XSI running on Macs. And, as much as I love Maya, there needs to more competition in the Mac 3D market (as small as it is).
